Surprise—my name isn’t Ardell.
Ardell Marie is named after my grandma and my mom, the two women who helped shape who I am today—strengths, flaws, lessons, and grace included.
I wear many titles: survivor, mother, wife, author, coach, stylist, and small business owner. Each one tells part of my story, but none of them define my limits.
My story began with adversity few would imagine—surviving childhood sexual abuse, navigating teen pregnancy, and enduring divorce, all by the age of twenty. From a young age, I faced judgment, financial hardship, shame, and deep self-doubt. Yet instead of allowing trauma to write my future, I chose to rise. Every setback, sleepless night, and tear became fuel to build a life many said I never would.
Today, I stand as a testament to what determination, obedience,
and faith in God can create.
My husband, Kiel, and I are now enjoying life after kids. God blessed us with two incredible, hardworking children. Our daughter Ivy (25) is married to
Blake and lives in Ellsworth.
Our son Aidyn (22) works full-time and lives in
Spring Valley with his girlfriend, Abby. When we’re not working, you’ll usually find us outside with our dogs, Presley, Indy and Luxe —camping in the summer and praying for snow in the winter because we love snowmobiling.
Professionally, my passion for hair color is evident throughout my work, but the most rewarding part of my day is the people. Listening, connecting, and building meaningful relationships with my guests is at the heart of everything I do. I strive to create an experience that feels relaxing yet fun—where every person feels seen, valued, and confident walking out the door.
I am also the author of Charging My Storm: Running Through the Pain of Childhood Abuse, a faith-based memoir born from my own healing journey. Through honest storytelling, Scripture, and reflection, my book invites others to confront shame, reclaim their identity, and discover that they were never lacking—only wounded. Writing was not just about telling my story, but about helping others find their voice
and healing in God’s truth.
My mission is simple but unwavering: to inspire others to reclaim their lives, walk boldly in faith, and never settle for a story spoken over them by pain, fear, or the past.
I invite you to explore my work, my heart, and all that Ardell Marie has to offer—on Facebook and Instagram.
